This is a drill that I was experimenting with last off-season and got some great feedback from the athletes that did it.
They had three different cues to react to, a number, a switch and a go. The drill starts with a number (1-5) and whatever I call they have to make it out to that hurdle and back to the start. Every time I call switch they have to switch between the two movement patterns (high knees or a weave) and finally whenever I call "go" they have to step out of the drill wherever they are and take 3-4 hard strides.
