I was fortunate to observe more than 80 interns who advanced into full-time Strength & Conditioning positions. Over 90% of the hires we made, interned for us prior to being hired on our staff in a full-time role. Our internship program was mutually beneficial to both our program and the individual intern. We gained from bringing in motivated individuals who immediately contributed to our daily operations. We also used this system to evaluate prospects who we would consider hiring down the road. The individual intern benefitted from a demanding curriculum designed to fast track them into the S&C field.
